This is not a remote position and it is located in Tulsa, OK. Purchasing agent monitors stock levels and identifying purchasing needs. Researching potential vendors, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery order supplies and equipment based on our company’s needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
Research potential vendors
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
Maintain updated records of Purchase Orders
Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

Work experience as an Assistant a plus
Good understanding of supply chain procedures
Knowledge of MS Excel
Solid organizational skills

Education/Experience:
High school Diploma or GED; or two-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
